2. Background of the Event ~Achievements of the 1st Edition and Evolution to the 2nd Edition~
ANIMEK was first held in November 2025, driven by producer Keiko (an active cosplayer)'s desire to "support first-time cosplayers" and "provide a safe and enjoyable event." It was well-received as a new venue for cosplayers and photographers to interact.
For the second edition, reflecting participant feedback, experiential programs utilizing outdoor locations have been significantly expanded. It will evolve into an event where participants can experience four values – "learn, shoot, move, and connect" – on the same day, going beyond a mere photo session.
Key Evolution Points for the 2nd Edition
- Addition of new content fully utilizing the outdoor area of Rinko Park
- Enhancement of seminars and posing boot camps by professional instructors with location shooting
- Promotion of community building through a cosplay sports festival (interactive type)

The venue, Rinko Park, is a vast lawn area overlooking Yokohama Port. It is one of Japan's leading location shooting spots where the urban landscape of Minatomirai and the blue sea and sky can be used as a backdrop simultaneously. Adjacent to Minatomirai, famous for its night views, it combines excellent accessibility with a sense of the extraordinary.
The posing boot camp and sports festival will make luxurious use of the lawn area of Rinko Park. This open outdoor space is the perfect location for cosplay photography and interactive events.

Graduate from "just shooting randomly"! A practical course where you can learn the essence of cosplay photography in 90 minutes, from the basics of light to lighting techniques using strobes. Individual questions to the instructor are also possible after the lecture. Safe for beginners.
