We are pleased to announce that Shunsuke Miyazato, #29 of the Kings U18, has been selected as one of the first invited players for the "BLACK SAMURAI SUMMIT 2026," a project hosted by Rui Hachimura, who plays in the NBA.
BLACK SAMURAI SUMMIT 2026 is an exclusive, invitation-only, small-group basketball camp where players with the potential to lead the Japanese national team in the future and compete on the world stage are personally selected by Hachimura himself. On the third day, August 8 (Saturday), a game will be held under the name "GAME DAY" with spectators, following the NCAA format of American universities (20 minutes x 2 quarters). In the first round of invitations, players were selected from across the country based on Hachimura's evaluation, and Miyazato, #29, was chosen as one of them.
This will be Miyazato's second consecutive participation in the "BLACK SAMURAI 2025 THE CAMP," following his involvement last year.
We ask for your continued strong support for Miyazato as he continues to challenge himself as a representative player of his youth generation.
