Announcement of the Head Coaching Structure for the 2026-27 Season

We are pleased to announce that Anthony McHenry will be appointed Associate Head Coach for the 2026-27 season, taking effective command of the team.

As it will take time for Mr. McHenry to obtain the JBA S-class coaching license required to serve as a head coach in the B.League, Kensuke Hosaka, who already holds the license, will be registered for games as Associate Coach and Head Coach.

Mr. McHenry was a central figure who built the club's history, playing for nine seasons starting in 2008. His jersey number '5' has been retired as a permanent honor for his achievements. After retiring from playing in 2023, he returned as an assistant coach, gaining experience under former Head Coach Oketani to further deepen his understanding of the team and leadership.

Under this new structure, we will continue to inherit the Kings' culture while creating a new history together.
