[Seahorses Mikawa] Inaugural Year of B.LEAGUE PREMIER! 'Super Girls' 2026-27 Season Member Auditions Now Open

Thank you for your continued support of Seahorses Mikawa.

We are pleased to announce auditions for the 2026-27 season for our cheerleading squad, 'Super Girls,' who energize Seahorses Mikawa games and events.

We are looking for individuals with dance or cheer experience who have confidence in their dancing, love basketball, and have a passion to cheer for Seahorses Mikawa and the B.League.

Starting in the 2026-27 season, our club will participate in the B.LEAGUE PREMIER. We are looking for members to help create the start of our history in this precious first year of the new league. Please apply!

Application Eligibility:
Individuals who can act as a 'Super Girls' cheerleader for Seahorses Mikawa during the following period:
1. Able to participate in at least 80% of Seahorses Mikawa games in Aichi Prefecture (24 out of 30 games).
2. Able to attend weekly practice sessions starting from July 2, 2026 (tentative), every Thursday.

* Approximately 5 events per month occur outside of games.
* Some appearances outside the prefecture may occur, such as the Emperor's Cup and Championship.
* Practice may be 1-2 times per week before the season starts (Regular season begins in October).

Applicants must be 18 years or older (High school students not accepted).
Experience in dance, cheerleading, or other performances required.
For applicants under 20, parental consent is required.
Must have a desire to support Seahorses Mikawa and agree with the team's activity policy.
Must be able to act with awareness and responsibility as a team member for one year.
Must not have contracts with other professional teams, sports organizations, or other entities related to cheering activities.
Working professionals must confirm with their employers that secondary employment is permitted before auditioning.

Activity Period:
July 2026 to the end of June 2027.

Activity Content:
Supporting Seahorses Mikawa and appearing at related events.
Participating in local PR events/volunteer activities.
Media appearances (TV, radio, magazines, etc.).
Teaching lessons at the cheer school (conditions apply).

Lessons:
Every Thursday 19:30-22:00 (tentative), with sessions held twice a week before the season.

Compensation/Provision:
Performance fees paid for home games and events.
Transportation costs paid for practice and home game appearances.
Uniform and equipment provided on loan.

Required Documents:
1. Two photos (Full body and upper body).
2. Creative dance video (1 min to 1 min 15 sec, 16x8 counts).
Must include: 1. Double turn, 2. Leap jump, 3. Battement, 4. Jump (e.g., toe touch).
3. Consent form (for those under 20).

Application Deadline:
June 7, 2026 (Sun), 23:59.

Selection Process:
1. Primary (Document) Screening: Result notification by June 12, 2026 (Fri).
2. Secondary Screening: Practical test and interview.
Date: June 20, 2026 (Sat), 10:00-17:00 (tentative).
Location: Aisin Gymnasium (2-3 Showa-cho, Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture).
Content: Practical test (creative dance, assigned dance, cheer call, flexibility), group interview.
