GLOBIS Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yoshito Hori) is launching a new management talent development program, the "Visionary Leadership Program (VLP)," aimed at senior leaders from global Japanese companies and multinational corporations. VLP is an immersion-style program where executive candidates and senior managers from around the world gather in Japan to experience Japanese values and management philosophies in Kyoto and Tokyo, while honing their decision-making skills and leadership centered on "Kokorozashi" (personal mission) required in these uncertain times.

### Background
In today's management environment—marked by rising geopolitical risks, AI advancements, and rapid changes in industrial structures—leaders face many "questions without right answers." Under these circumstances, it is difficult to make appropriate decisions if bound by traditional stereotypes and perspectives. There is a need to acquire new perspectives on management and leadership. To make final decisions, a "pivot" rooted in the leader's own values and sense of mission serves as a compass.

In this context, management thoughts and values rooted in Japan are gaining attention as a way to acquire new perspectives. Features such as management based on a long-term perspective, coexistence with diverse stakeholders, harmony between humans and technology, and decision-making that emphasizes on-site knowledge and tacit knowledge are being re-evaluated in a world seeking a shift from short-term results and overemphasis on shareholder value.

VLP aims to bring a "paradigm shift" to the leadership of participants by exposing them to Japan's unique culture, spirituality, and the management philosophy nurtured there. The program explores perspectives that are Japan-born yet globally applicable, such as "Long-termism," "Stakeholder Harmony," "Human Capital Focus," and "Kokorozashi-Driven Leadership."

### Features of VLP

1. **Experiential Leadership Development Set in Japan**
In addition to a 5-day face-to-face session consisting of 2 days in Kyoto and 3 days in Tokyo, two online sessions will be held before and after the course. Participants will experientially understand values rooted in Japanese culture through activities such as an Ikebana (flower arrangement) experience touching the spirit of "Do" (The Way) and a Zen experience at Myoshinji Temple to feel the wisdom of "Zen." Through such learning, they will re-examine their own views on leadership and lead them to transformation. By combining online and in-person training in Japan, the learning does not end as a one-off but leads to reflection and practice.

2. **Cultivating Decision-Making Skills Centered on "Kokorozashi"**
Participants will face fundamental questions such as "What do I want to leave for the future?", "What is the true role of a company?", and "How should humans be in the AI era?" They will gain multi-perspective decision-making power, clarification of "Kokorozashi" rooted in individual values, and a reliable human network that can support each other in the future. Through this program, we aim to develop "visionary leaders" equipped with conceptual and decisive powers in an era of rapid change.

3. **A Global Learning Venue Across Borders and Industries**
The target is those at the level of Department Manager, General Manager, or above at the headquarters or overseas group companies of Japanese and multinational corporations. It targets talent who will bear future management regardless of nationality, and is designed to broaden perspectives through dialogue among participants with different regions, industries, and cultural backgrounds. The session language is English, positioning it as a place for cross-border learning for next-generation executive candidates and senior managers.

Furthermore, participants will gain eligibility (for a fee) to participate in G1 Global and G1 Silicon Valley organized by G1 Institute, a GLOBIS Group general incorporated association. They can discuss global-scale issues with global leaders from the business world, government, and academia, and expand their perspectives and professional networks.

*Program content is planned as of April 2026 and is subject to change.
