Global Brain Corporation (hereinafter "Global Brain") is pleased to announce that the Kyocera Venture Innovation Fund 1 has invested in AuthenX Inc. (Headquarters: Taiwan; hereinafter "AuthenX"), a company that develops and provides silicon photonics products in Taiwan.
In recent years, the demand for optical communication and silicon photonics has been growing, driven by the expansion of high-speed communications and data center needs. AuthenX is a startup that develops optoelectronic products, leveraging its strengths in high-precision assembly technology that spans optical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal design.
The company specializes in the design and development of high-speed optical transceivers utilizing silicon photonics technology. It is accelerating the provision of advanced system integration solutions to meet the growing demand in AI data centers, 5G/6G communications, and satellite communication markets. Furthermore, to address the need for lower power consumption and higher speeds resulting from the explosive increase in data traffic, AuthenX utilizes its proprietary silicon photonics technology and manages the entire process from design to mass production, contributing to the shortening of its customers' product development cycles.
