JCB releases "JCB Corporate Card Station"

JCB Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Takayoshi Futae; hereinafter: JCB) has renewed its web service for corporate card administrators of mid-sized and large companies and is releasing it as the JCB Corporate Card Station.

The JCB Corporate Card Station is a web service for corporate card administrators of mid-sized and large companies that achieves both "strengthening corporate governance" and "improving operational efficiency for corporate administrators."

If you have an eligible JCB Corporate Card contract, registration and usage are free.

## About the Main Additional Features

~Main additional features of JCB Corporate Card Station~

In addition to existing functions such as usage statement/invoice inquiry and taxi ticket issuance, new functions have been added.

◆VCN (Virtual Card Number)

You can instantly issue a card number that can be used for online payments by setting usage conditions according to your needs, such as number of uses, period, and amount.
In view of the recent increase in fraudulent use, you can make online payments with peace of mind because high-security token numbers are used, and the scope of use can be limited for each VCN.
Furthermore, if you issue a VCN with a purpose set in the statement management memo, you can check "what the payment was for" in the usage statement menu, which smooths out accounting processes.

◆Card Usage Notifications and Restrictions

You can set card usage-related notifications and restrictions per corporate contract or user card, allowing for more secure card usage.
Example: If the "overspending alert" is set to 160,000 yen and "overspending block" is set to 200,000 yen.

◆Authority Management Function

You can set (grant, change, delete) usage authorities for each user.

◆Workflow Function

This function allows you to grasp the application status of various procedures related to corporate cards at a glance, such as increasing credit limits and changing registration information.
By setting the scope of application and approval for each user type (three types: administration manager, administration supervisor, and administration staff), it prevents concentration of approvals and operational errors, enabling governance-maintained operations.

You can check incoming workflow requests for various procedures such as credit limit increases, notifications, payment trends over the past 6 months, and usage status by contract and user.

## Development Background

In order to satisfy the needs of corporate customers, prior to feature development, we interviewed mid-sized and large companies using corporate cards about their concerns regarding expenses, accounting processing, and corporate cards.

Along with the increased use cases for expenses such as entertainment and travel expenses, and also advertising, purchasing, and equipment costs, there were requests for an easy-to-use environment that especially strengthened governance and improved visibility at a glance. The JCB Corporate Card Station has realized "function-specific authority settings for each user (editable, read-only, etc.)" and "visualization of applications and approvals through workflows," building a system that can be used safely and securely.

## Future Developments

The JCB Corporate Card Station plans to gradually expand its functions, such as providing an API external connection service*1.
*1 This service provides some information, such as usage statements, to partner corporations like accounting SaaS providers via API (Application Programming Interface) connection, with the customer's consent.
