The Bank of Kyoto, Kyogin Card Service, and JCB Collaborate to Sign a JCB Purchasing Service Agreement with Kyoto Prefecture
The Bank of Kyoto and JCB have partnered to introduce a cardless payment service to streamline payment operations for Kyoto Prefecture.
The Bank of Kyoto, Ltd. (President: Mikiya Yasui), Kyogin Card Service Co., Ltd. (President: Keizo Tokomoto), and JCB Co., Ltd. (Chairman and CEO: Takayoshi Futae) are pleased to announce that they have signed a "JCB Purchasing Service" (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") agreement with Kyoto Prefecture to streamline the payment operations of local government entities.
The Service is designed for corporations and local governments. By issuing only credit card numbers without physical plastic cards, it allows organizations to consolidate payments for public utility charges and expenses into credit card settlements, thereby improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
