Kyoto Sanjo Haku https://www.haku.kyoto/
Kyoto Sanjo Haku, located along the Kamo River and not far from Sanjo Ohashi, offers Wagyu sukiyaki kaiseki meals prepared with our special warishita (sukiyaki sauce).
The Haku building was formerly a restaurant called Shikokunya Tanitora during the late Edo period, and it is said to be where "Hanpeita Takechi," one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tosa, stayed when he visited Kyoto. The alcove in the [Hanpei Room] where Takechi stayed, and the earthen walls with remnants of the box-shaped stairs in the entrance, remain as they were at that time. Each room is adorned with calligraphy by great figures, allowing guests to feel the evidence of history passed down through the ages. Furthermore, from the large room on the second floor, you can enjoy views of Kyoto, including the Kamo River, Sanjo Bridge (the final destination of the Tokaido Gojusantsugi), Higashiyama, and Shogunzuka.
