GenerativeX and Money Forward Consulting Sign Basic Agreement for Strategic Business Alliance

GenerativeX Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Rei Araki; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has signed a basic agreement for a strategic business alliance with Money Forward Consulting Co., Ltd., a group company of Money Forward, Inc.

Currently, a pressing issue in Japan is the shortage of back-office personnel in areas such as corporate planning, accounting, and human resources. Amidst this situation, the social implementation of generative AI is accelerating, and AI workers that autonomously perform tasks without waiting for human instructions are gaining attention. Combining AI agents with the increasingly widespread use of SaaS will become a foundation for supporting sustainable corporate growth by simultaneously addressing labor shortages and achieving business growth.

On the other hand, to achieve the expected return on investment in AI utilization, it is necessary to expand the scope of application not only to the automation of individual tasks but also to the entire process and the entire organization. For this purpose, overall design and system development, including requirements definition, data design, integration with existing systems, and governance construction, are essential.

However, in many workplaces, there is a shortage of personnel to lead business design based on AI utilization, and manual work still prevails, hindering the accumulation of data necessary for AI and systemization. Furthermore, companies face challenges such as their in-house AI agent construction and operation systems not keeping pace.

In this alliance, we will merge our "AI construction and implementation capabilities," with over 150 AI project achievements primarily for large enterprises, and Money Forward Consulting's "BPR* and technology expertise," which has supported business design and DX/AX for over 1,000 companies cumulatively. Starting with the construction of business flows that enable AI to perform at its maximum potential, we will provide end-to-end support from requirements definition, data design, system integration, and AI agent construction to on-site adoption, thereby achieving a dramatic improvement in back-office productivity in the AI era.

■ Key Initiatives Planned

1. Provision of General-Purpose AI Workers to Solve Common Back-Office Issues

We will combine our advanced AI agent construction capabilities with the business design expertise of the Money Forward Group, which is not dependent on specific products. We plan to develop and provide general-purpose AI workers that can be introduced regardless of the SaaS usage environment to address common back-office issues faced by companies.

2. Provision of Custom-Made AI Workers for Autonomous Execution of Unique Business Processes

For companies with unique business processes that are difficult to handle with general-purpose products, or those with complex IT environments where multiple SaaS and legacy systems coexist, we will individually design and build custom-made AI workers tailored to their specific needs. Starting with BPR and data preparation, we will sequentially deploy consulting services that provide end-to-end support from formulating business concepts based on AI utilization to implementing AI across all existing systems and ensuring adoption by the field.
