Geek Pictures Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tamotsu Osano) is pleased to announce the release of the official trailer for the movie "Banaana," which it co-produces, distributes, and produces.

"Banaana" is the second movie from "Atarashii Chizu," following "The Bastard and the Beautiful World," which attracted 280,000 viewers during a limited two-week run in 2018.

Like the first film, it stars Goro Inagaki, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, and Shingo Katori from "Atarashii Chizu." The director is Kenji Yamauchi, who is active in various fields. Yamauchi made his mark in the theater world after starting as a commercial director, winning the 59th Kishida Kunio Drama Award for "Troisgros" (2014) and the 74th Yomiuri Literature Award for Drama and Screenplay for "Hot Autumn" (2022). He has also emerged as a filmmaker, releasing hit titles such as "The Bastard and the Beautiful World," "My Friend's Papa is Favored" (2015), and "Unique Countries in Asia" (2025).

The ensemble cast includes First Summer Uika, who is active in variety shows, movies, and TV dramas; Shuri, who left a striking impression through her performance in the NHK morning drama series "Boogie Woogie"; Kanji Furutachi, who is highly sought after by creators and is a staple in masterpieces; Yukiyoshi Ozawa, who has expanded his work in TV, film, and stage; and Mitsuru Fukikoshi, who possesses a unique presence in the world of expression with his acting, voice, and stance. They are joined by Sara Hayama, Kyomi Mizuno, and Ami Tei.
