Geeeeks Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Minato Sonehara; hereinafter referred to as Geeeeks) will hold a free seminar for IT engineers and development organization managers titled "What is the 'IT Architect' Required in the AI Era? ~Thinking Methods for Discussing Technology from a Business Perspective~" on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 19:30 to 21:00.
Background of the Seminar
Geeeeks regularly holds seminars for IT engineers and IT engineer recruitment personnel. This time, the theme is "IT Architects in the AI Era," and Mr. Shinobu Mikami, CEO of Bayfront Architect LLC, will be the speaker. As the role of engineers is being redefined by the spread of AI, he will discuss "Technology selection with a business perspective" and "Thinking methods to be chosen by CTOs and management," going beyond mere implementation skills, with examples from large-scale projects such as smart cities.
We hope that engineers who wish to enhance their market value will participate, including those who want to learn about the IT architect mindset to become high-end engineers, those who want to know the decisive difference between junior and senior engineers in the AI era and the real evaluation criteria of management, and those who want to be involved in architecture design and technology selection using multi-cloud and the latest AI tools.
In an era where development automation is advancing, the importance of "architects" who can convert technology into business value is increasing. Through this seminar, we aim to enhance the understanding of what it means to be a "chosen engineer" not replaceable by AI and to provide hints for forging the next generation of careers.
