Rainy achieved an impressive runner-up finish in the official tournament "FNCS Major 1 Second Chance Qualifier" held on April 28-29, securing his first-ever qualification for a world championship.

This marks DFM's first appearance in a world championship since 2023, representing a challenge to the world stage after three years.

What is FNCS?

"Fortnite Championship Series" (FNCS) is the pinnacle tournament series for Fortnite.

Qualifying tournaments are held in various regions around the world, and players who advance through these qualifiers earn the right to participate in the world championship.

The 2026 FNCS season features three online major tournaments and two offline tournaments, with a total prize pool of 10 million dollars across all events, making it the largest season ever.

What is FNCS Major 1 Summit?

This is a newly established international tournament to be held over three days from May 29 (Friday) to May 31 (Sunday) in Düsseldorf, Germany. 75 duos / a total of 150 formidable players from around the world will gather to compete for a total prize pool of 1.3 million dollars (approximately 200 million yen) and direct qualification for the Global Championship.
