【Cranium】Manga adaptation of Thai GL to be pre-released on Renta! Crowdfunding also starts on 3/26

Frontier Works Inc. (Animate Group) and DREAM EXPRESS [DEX] CO., LTD. have announced that the manga adaptation of the Thai GL novel "Cranium" will be pre-released on the e-book service Renta! starting Friday, May 1, 2026.

This work is one of the popular titles representing "Thai GL" (a genre depicting love between women), which has been gaining attention in Asia in recent years. The manga adaptation is handled by Ruri Uzuki, a GL artist popular in both Thailand and Japan. The announcement received a great response from overseas fans, attracting attention across borders.

In addition, to commemorate this manga adaptation, a crowdfunding project will start on "Soreosu" from 18:00 on Thursday, March 26, 2026. The purpose of this project is to increase awareness of the "Cranium" and "Thai GL" genre and to realize the production of a physical copy of the manga version (limited production as a crowdfunding reward).

The goal is to bring the charm of "Thai GL," which is attracting attention in Thailand, to Japanese readers and to widely disseminate the work "Cranium." 【Cranium Synopsis】 A small plane crashes in a rural area of central Thailand, killing 15 crew members and passengers. Young Dr. Bua is dispatched to the scene to identify the bodies.
