Takahashi Galilei Launches '10-Year Refrigerant Leak Warranty Inspection Contract (TGX)' for Food Factories

Takahashi Galilei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishiyodogawa-ku, Osaka; President: Tomokazu Narita) will launch the '10-Year Refrigerant Leak Warranty Inspection Contract (TGX)' for its 'Tunnel Freezer®' continuous rapid cooling and freezing equipment for food factories, effective June 1, 2026. This contract combines daily remote monitoring with regular inspections to identify signs of abnormalities, including refrigerant leaks, at an early stage, contributing to the prevention of malfunctions and the maintenance of stable operations. In the unlikely event of a refrigerant leak, the company will guarantee repair costs for 10 years based on the contract terms. For food factories, the stable operation of Tunnel Freezer® is crucial to maintaining production systems. Conversely, cooling failures or sudden shutdowns due to refrigerant leaks pose risks of production and food loss. Under the TGX contract, the company will perform continuous daily monitoring via a remote system and conduct regular inspections to detect and address abnormalities early. Furthermore, through initiatives in design, construction, and maintenance, the company aims to suppress the risk of refrigerant leaks over the long term. Through this contract, Takahashi Galilei aims to contribute to stable equipment operation, food loss reduction, and lower environmental impact in food factories. The development of this contract is backed by continuous efforts in design, construction, and maintenance to reduce refrigerant leak risks. Takahashi Galilei has optimized equipment structures, such as reviewing cooler designs and strengthening piping fixation methods. Additionally, to improve construction quality, the company has standardized and advanced the entire construction process, including reviewing piping materials and internalizing special fittings. Furthermore, by standardizing the installation of remote monitoring devices on refrigeration units, the company has enabled the acquisition and utilization of operational data, enhancing the accuracy of equipment status monitoring and predictive detection. These efforts have established a system capable of suppressing refrigerant leak risks over the long term, making it possible to offer an inspection contract with a 10-year warranty. The contract starts on June 1, 2026, and covers all Tunnel Freezer® series, Spiral Freezer SPIN SHOCK®, batch-type rapid freezer TBR, alcohol batch-type rapid freezer LSHOCK®, and CO2 refrigeration system NOBRAC. Eligible projects are new installations designed and constructed by the company (limited to those handed over on or after April 1, 2026), with enrollment possible within one year of handover and a minimum two-year contract required. In recent years, measures against refrigerant leaks and greenhouse gas reduction have become increasingly important in food factories and refrigeration facilities.
