Yasushi Sekine and Ayumi Sato of G-gen Inc. Win 'Difference Maker of the Year 2026'

The Cloud Learning Services Award recognizes contributions to technical skill acquisition and digital transformation (DX) in the field of Google Cloud training and education. Among these, the 'Difference Maker of the Year' is awarded to individuals within the Google Cloud Authorized Trainer (GCAT) community who have delivered significant and sustainable value to students, partners, and the entire learning ecosystem.

This award evaluates efforts that go beyond mere training delivery. Specifically, it assesses leadership in community contribution and new initiatives, support for other trainers, and the ability to explain complex technologies simply to foster learner growth.

Yasushi Sekine was highly evaluated for his contribution to the GCAT community and his role at the core of the training team, continuously promoting high-quality training and human resource development.

Ayumi Sato achieved remarkable results by holding Japan's first 'Launchpad for Women' (https://cloudonair.withgoogle.com/events/launchpad-for-women-2026), a training program aimed at improving technical skills for women. She received numerous reports of successful Google Cloud certifications from participants nationwide. These efforts led to her receiving this award.
