Nogizaka46 is currently in the midst of their annual summer tradition, the 'Midsummer National Tour 2026.' Sakura Sugawara, who was just appointed as the group's new captain in May, has been featured on the cover and as the lead story in the August-September 2026 double issue of the monthly idol magazine EX大众 (Futabasha), released on July 15.

The theme of the feature is 'The Summers of Then and Now.' While her debut gravure in EX大众's July 2022 issue captured her fresh and innocent look as a new member, this year's shoot preserves that same childlike purity.
