To commemorate the release of the 24th volume in Futaba Bunko's popular "Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo Holmes" series, author Mai Mochizuki will hold an autograph session on July 11, 2026, at the Al Plaza Joyo store.

The "Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo Holmes" series, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025 and has sold over 2.75 million copies, is a beloved character mystery series. Set in the antique shop "Kura" in Kyoto, the story follows university student Aoi Mashiro and Kiyotaka Kaji, known as the "Holmes of Teramachi," as they solve various mysteries. The long-awaited continuation (volumes 23 and 24), released approximately one year after the previous installment, marks the first time in the series that two consecutive volumes will be published in two consecutive months (June and July).

The setting for the latest installment goes beyond Kyoto and takes place in London, England! A grand story unfolds as the duo's activities span the globe and they pursue the mystery hidden within the popular painting "Pilgrimage." At the autograph session, in addition to the new 24th volume, attendees can have the 23rd volume, released the previous month, signed upon request.
