**FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Yukio Furuno; hereinafter, "the Company") will exhibit "FLOWVIS" (hereinafter, FLOWVIS), a vehicle entry/exit management service that automates and packages business vehicle management at business sites and logistics facilities, at the "7th Kansai Logistics Exhibition (KANSAI LOGIX 2026)" to be held at Intex Osaka from April 8 (Wednesday) to 10 (Friday), 2026.** The revised Logistics Efficiency Act*1 came into effect on April 1, 2026, and initiatives to reduce waiting and cargo handling times and improve productivity are shifting from the planning and consideration stage to the implementation phase. In this context, our company proposes practical solutions that enable objective understanding and recording of waiting and stay times, starting from entry/exit management, and promote accountability required of shippers and continuous improvement while minimizing the burden on the field. At our booth, we will also introduce practical examples of how to address practical issues faced by companies, such as data preparation for current situation assessment, KPI setting, and medium- to long-term plan formulation, which are required after complying with the new law and establishing a CLO (Chief Logistics Officer)*2.

Service Overview and Main Features

FLOWVIS is a vehicle entry/exit management service that "reliably" detects and identifies vehicles using both "ETC" authentication and "license plate" authentication.

① Reliable vehicle detection/identification and gate entry/exit control

By combining "ETC" authentication, which boasts high reliability and recognition rates on expressways, with "license plate" authentication, which is attached to all vehicles, highly accurate vehicle entry/exit management is achieved. This service supports various gate devices such as shutters and chain gates, in addition to bar gates. *Gateless operation is also possible

② Packaged functions necessary for entry/exit management

It is provided as a set with software that allows anyone to easily operate a full range of functions, such as image confirmation and searching of entering/exiting vehicles, and recalling recorded data. It supports centralized management of multiple entry/exit points and control of various devices other than gates, enabling business efficiency and cost reduction according to customer requests, such as distinguishing vehicles (authorized/unauthorized) by flashing patrol lights and notifying visitors/guiding vehicles via electronic display boards.

③ Linkage with other companies' systems via API provision

The FLOWVIS API not only controls equipment but also integrates with reception/berth reservation systems, warehouse management systems, and vehicle location management systems, preparing for functional expansion to smoother facility operations.

④ Enhanced visualization tools for waiting times, etc.

By newly adding a graphing tool function that displays the number of passages by gate, the number of passages by entry/exit, and furthermore, the stay time by company and the number of vehicles by stay time, on a daily and period basis, waiting and cargo handling times are visualized. In addition, by providing evidence based on numerical values, we support business improvement from visualization to analysis in a comprehensive manner. *1 Revised Logistics Efficiency Act... This law introduces regulatory measures for shippers and logistics businesses to secure funds for truck drivers' wage increases and improve logistics productivity, by promoting the reduction of waiting and cargo handling times and the correction of multi-layered subcontracting structures. *2 Establishment of CLO (Chief Logistics Officer)... The establishment of CLO has been legislated by the government as a measure against the 2024 logistics problem. It is a role filled by a person in a managerial position who participates in important business operational decisions made by specific shippers and is responsible for logistics across the entire supply chain based on the company's strategy.
