Funai Soken, a management consulting firm specializing in small and medium-sized enterprises, signed a sales partnership agreement with Legalscape on April 1, 2026, and began offering the service in May. Through this partnership, Funai Soken will propose the 'Legalscape' platform to its professional firm clients, helping them address productivity and management challenges. Legal research, a critical task in the early stages of a case, is time-consuming when searching across books and legal databases. This burden is particularly heavy for firms with fewer lawyers, often limiting their ability to take on new types of cases. Funai Soken operates management study groups for professional firms, while Legalscape provides a platform containing over 44,000 legal documents, including more than 4,500 law books, powered by generative AI and proprietary natural language processing. By integrating Legalscape into their consulting services, Funai Soken aims to provide practical solutions to these firms. The collaboration includes proposing Legalscape as a research foundation and sharing use cases through seminars and study groups for legal and corporate legal departments.
