FFG Expands Financial Service 'vary' with New Vary Card Bonus Point Stores

Fukuoka Financial Group Co., Ltd. (President: Hisashi Goshima, hereinafter "FFG") announces the expansion of its 'vary' service, offered through its subsidiaries Fukuoka Bank, Kumamoto Bank, and Jusan Shinwa Bank, to further deliver value in terms of "savings" and "convenience" to its customers.

Following a service enhancement released on April 15, 2026, FFG will add four new brands to the Vary Card bonus point program starting Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

FFG aims to enhance customer experience through these service improvements and will continue striving to enrich the lives of local communities.

'vary' is a combined service featuring a four-tier membership program called the 'Vary Program' and the 'Vary Card,' a credit card that offers up to 20% point rewards when used at designated bonus stores. FFG launched the service on January 19, 2026.

Newly Added Bonus Point Stores

Starting June 16, 2026, the following four brands will be added: Nishinippon Shimbun me (digital edition, excluding app-based payments), CHARGESPOT (official app only), Nishitetsu Railway (limited to Nishitetsu trains on the Tenjin-Omuta and Kaizuka Lines only), and Fukuoka Kitakyushu Expressway Public Corporation (Fukuoka Urban Expressway / Kitakyushu Urban Expressway). By including familiar local brands, FFG aims to make the Vary Card’s benefits of “savings” and “ease of use” more accessible in everyday life across Kyushu.

※ For Nishinippon Shimbun, all subscription plans under Nishinippon Shimbun me (digital edition, excluding app payments) are eligible. Payments for home-delivered newspapers are not eligible for Vary Program benefits. Additionally, subscriptions made via the app using App Store or Google Play payments are not eligible.

※ For Nishitetsu Railway, only touch-payment train rides (via gate touch payment) on the Tenjin-Omuta and Kaizuka Lines are eligible (Nishitetsu buses are not eligible).

※ For Nishitetsu Railway, only touch-payment train rides are eligible. Payments for commuter passes or special tickets are not eligible for Vary Program benefits.

※ For Fukuoka Kitakyushu Expressway Public Corporation (urban expressways), benefits apply only to ETC wireless tolling or ETC card handover payments at toll gates on the Fukuoka and Kitakyushu Urban Expressways. Credit card payments (non-ETC) at toll plazas connecting to the Kyushu Expressway are not eligible.
