Fuji TV has announced that the stage play 'The Tatami Galaxy,' currently receiving rave reviews at the New National Theatre, will be available for streaming via its video service FOD's PPV (Pay-Per-View) starting Sunday, June 14, in response to numerous requests from fans who were unable to secure tickets. Based on the popular novel by Tomihiko Morimi, the story follows a 'rotten college student' in Kyoto living in multiple parallel worlds. The work was previously adapted into an anime in 2010. This first-ever stage adaptation is directed and written by Makoto Ueda of Europe Kikaku. The cast features Kei Ino as the protagonist, along with Shiho Kato and Ayame Gouriki. The streaming period runs from June 14 to June 20, priced at 3,800 yen (tax included).
