Fuji TV's video streaming service, FOD, has announced that it will exclusively stream the Chinese drama "Qing Jin Zhi" starting at midnight on Wednesday, June 3rd. "Qing Jin Zhi" is a story about a former chancellor of the previous dynasty and an emperor seeking talent to build an ideal nation, who meet again and aim to realize their ambitions while recognizing each other's talents. The story depicts on a grand scale how the two build a relationship while overcoming past grudges. The chancellor, Yue Chi, who cares deeply for his sister, is played by Xie Xingyang, an actor from an idol audition program known for his handsome features and charm. The emperor, Huo Jinghong, who once shot Yue Chi on the battlefield and now seeks to welcome him to the imperial court, is played by Wang Ruichang, known for "The Lover of Babylon." The witty and thrilling interactions between the chancellor, who enters the inner palace disguised as his sister, and the emperor and his consorts are a must-see. The series consists of 24 episodes. FOD Premium is available for 1,320 yen (tax included) per month.
