fujitomo-PR LLC (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) announces a new vision that likens the nature of PR to the movements of celestial bodies. We aim to be a 'Venus-like PR' that orbits inside and outside the client, signaling the dawn or quietly watching over the end of the day, delivering new value to society.
We support 'April Dream,' a project that aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. This press release is the dream of fujitomo-PR LLC.
Why 'Venus'?
When you look up at the sky, the sun is too dazzling, and the moon is too symbolic. In between, Venus stays at a distance, known as the 'Morning Star' and 'Evening Star,' casting a momentary sparkle at dawn and dusk. PR is also an existence that does not shine at the center itself, but places words into society while maintaining a certain distance. We want to be an entity that, while not standing out, continues to draw a certain trajectory.
Scenes of 'Intersection' seen at Gunkanjima, Nagasaki
The perspective as a former curator is the foundation of fujitomo-PR's activities. My recent visit to Gunkanjima (Hashima) in Nagasaki was truly an intersection of history and life. However, even in the same place, what one 'sees' differs. It is a symbol of prosperity. It is a trace of decline. PR is also born at the intersection of corporate history and social movements, and it takes on completely different contours depending on where you look and who you deliver it to. Corporate visits are not 'sightseeing' but serious battlefields. We dig up buried facts and organize them into a form that connects with society.
Is there enough 'Love and Harmony'?
In astrology, Venus governs 'love and harmony.' However, it seems fujitomo-PR lacks love. Instead, we have endless curiosity and biased obsession. Thinking not only of Venus but also of the 'early modern' (kinsei) period, we realize that dreams and life are just a fleeting play, like the world of 'Kin-kin Sensei Eiga Yume.' Still, fujitomo-PR wants to continue to witness the beginning and end of someone's challenge. Just as the same Venus becomes both the 'Morning Star' and the 'Evening Star,' the value of the same company changes its appearance within relationships. Shaping that 'gap in perception' and delivering it to society is the dream of our 'Zero-to-One PR.'
Comment from Tomoko Fujita, Representative of fujitomo-PR LLC
The dream of 'Writing, Exploring, and White Space' that I posted last year for April Dream is gradually taking shape. I don't know where this press release is heading, but I certainly have the feeling that it gets a little closer to reality the moment it is released. In other words, course correction. PR might be a job of moving while being lost, drawing a trajectory. Oh, I forgot to talk about the dream of the newspaper x milk stand 'GOSSIP THE MILK'. Hasty work is not good (tears).
