[Shimoda Aquarium] 'Ajisai' Horse Mackerel Festival! Animal Feeding Campaign

3rd Annual Limited-Time Feeding Campaign

From June 1 to 30, the 'Shimoda Ajisai Festival' will be held at Shimoda Park, showcasing over 3 million hydrangeas of more than 100 varieties. Located adjacent to the park, Shimoda Aquarium is hosting the 'Ajisai' event, a play on the Japanese words for 'hydrangea' and 'horse mackerel.' In addition to displaying live horse mackerel, visitors can enjoy feeding experiences for dolphins, seals, penguins, and the mackerel themselves.

### Feeding Experiences - Dolphin Feeding: Marine Stadium, after 9:50 show, 100 JPY - Spotted Seal Feeding: Seal House, after 14:10 show, 300 JPY - Humboldt Penguin Feeding: Penguin Pool, approx. 12:00, 100 JPY (tickets distributed at 9:30) - Horse Mackerel Feeding: Gyogyo Lab, Saturdays/Sundays, 12:00/14:00, 500 JPY (includes backyard tour)
