Fuji-Q Highland (Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi Prefecture) will begin offering a new service called 'Virtual Queue Bunshinkun' on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. This service allows guests to virtually wait in line through the app, enabling them to spend their waiting time at any preferred location within the park, as if their 'digital self' were standing in line for them.

'Bunshinkun' is a pre-purchase service where guests select a target attraction via the official Fuji-Q Highland app 'Q-chan'. A countdown begins based on the current wait time, and once the countdown ends, guests can board the attraction. Since guests do not need to physically wait in line, they gain greater freedom in how they spend their time in the park, making their visit more comfortable and enjoyable. The service applies to 11 popular attractions, including 'ZOKKON', 'FUJIYAMA', 'Takabisha', and 'Eejanai-ka'.

In recent years, the concept of 'Taipa' (time performance) has gained popularity, increasing demand for smarter ways to spend waiting time at amusement parks. With this service, guests can use their waiting time for other attractions, events, dining, or shopping, maximizing their experience within limited visit hours. Guests can wait indoors at restaurants or shops instead of standing in outdoor queues, enhancing overall comfort.

The service can be purchased online via the official ticketing site 'CLUB Fuji-Q' up to the day before the visit. Sales begin on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, with usage starting the following day, July 22.

This summer, let your 'digital self' handle the queue while you freely enjoy attractions, meals, shopping, or a relaxing break indoors. Experience a whole new way to enjoy Fuji-Q Highland.

Fuji-Q Highland has long been a pioneer in tech-driven park innovation, introducing Japan’s first facial recognition system at an amusement park in 2018. 'Virtual Queue Bunshinkun' represents the next evolution of these efforts and marks the first step toward the company’s vision of a 'queue-free amusement park' where guests no longer need to stand in line. We invite you to look forward to the continued evolution of Fuji-Q Highland.
