On August 8, 2026 (Sat), "Q-STAGE," a new stage equipped with a giant LED vision, will open in Central Park at Fuji-Q Highland (Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture). To commemorate its opening, TAITO Corporation's legendary game, "Space Invaders," will be available to play on an overwhelming scale in a limited-time event: "SPACE INVADERS GIGAMAX."
Approaching Invaders Fill a Towering Giant Screen!
The highlight of the new stage, born as a "hub for new culture," is undoubtedly the ultra-giant LED vision measuring 10.5m wide by 3m high. The familiar invaders will descend in swarms. The masterpiece that once enthralled Japan will descend upon the heart of Fuji-Q Highland with cutting-edge technology and an overwhelming scale, delivering an unprecedented sense of immersion and thrill.
Become "Comrades in Arms" with Strangers! A Frenzied Shooting Game for Up to 10 Players
On August 9 (Sun), the special opening event "TAITO Presents 'Let's All Defend Fuji-Q Highland from Invaders!'" will be held. Up to 10 players can participate simultaneously, working together to shoot down the invaders. The greatest appeal is the ability to instantly become a team with family, friends, and even strangers you happen to meet that day, united by the mission to "defend the Earth." Prizes will be awarded to the teams and individuals who achieve high scores.
On a summer evening, the familiar yet new electronic sounds will echo at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
With your adrenaline still pumping from the scream machines, it's now "your" turn to defend Fuji-Q Highland from the invasion of the invaders!
