Just about 50 minutes by car from the capital region, the adventure resort "Sagamiko MORI MORI" (Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture) will host a special event tied to "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie," titled "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Kikikai Kai! My Yokai Vacation in Sagamiko MORI MORI," from Saturday, July 18, 2026, through Monday, October 12, 2026 (a public holiday).

This event coincides with the release of the latest film, "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Kikikai Kai! My Yokai Vacation," hitting theaters on Friday, July 31. Both major attractions—the 3D maze fortress Karakuri Fort and the Pair Parallel Lift—will be transformed into movie-themed experiences. Guests can also enjoy the "Yokai MORI MORI Adventure Rally," a sticker rally with collectible souvenirs at five locations featuring characters and "oshiri tama" (buttock balls), as well as photogenic spots perfect for memorable photos. Numerous experiential activities are designed to make the most of the resort’s expansive forest setting. On-site restaurants will offer original food, drinks, and desserts featuring exclusive event-themed merchandise, and limited-edition goods available only during this event will be sold. Additionally, a special camping package with souvenirs will be available for those who wish to stay overnight. Visitors can immerse themselves in the mysterious world of the Nohara family and the colorful yokai both day and night, surrounded by the forest.

Starting Saturday, June 27, a pre-event collaboration initiative has already launched at "Splash Carnival," the largest water play area in the Kanto region, offering summer-exclusive activities guaranteed to get you soaking wet.

Don’t miss this summer event, unique to "Sagamiko MORI MORI," set in a lush forest just 50 minutes by car from central Tokyo, where you can experience the world of the Nohara family and their eccentric yokai friends.

Event details will be gradually released on the official website.

(Story)

One summer day, strange supernatural phenomena are being reported across Japan, capturing public attention. Meanwhile, the Nohara family sets off for Akita Prefecture to visit Hiroshi’s parents. As they prepare for the trip, a mysterious shadow secretly watches Shin-chan innocently playing pretend yokai games from behind the garden.

Looking forward to their first family visit in a while and the local fireworks festival, the Nohara family enjoys a peaceful time at Grandpa Ginnojo’s house. However, the morning after their arrival in Akita, a baffling incident occurs—flyers for "Obakee-shon Village" are scattered throughout the room where Shin-chan and the others were staying.

Excited by the flyer’s promise of "all-you-can-eat chocolate bites," Shin-chan convinces the family to visit "Obakee-shon Village." As they travel through Akita’s changing scenery, they gradually enter a strange, otherworldly space...

They have arrived at the entrance to the "Land of Yokai," a place forbidden to humans!

Will Shin-chan and the Nohara family overcome the greatest crisis in their history and safely return to the human world?

A mysterious summer adventure begins as the Nohara family meets a cast of delightful yokai!
