Robot Manufacturer FUJI Announces New Series of Compact General-Purpose Mounter 'CLT-FG'

FUJI Corporation (Headquarters: Chiryu, Aichi; President and Representative Director: George Igarashi; hereinafter 'FUJI') has developed a new mounter, 'CLT-FG,' which combines compactness with production flexibility. Leveraging the technology FUJI has cultivated in mounter development, the 1-meter-wide compact design meets diverse production needs, including high-mix low-volume production, to achieve flexible and stable manufacturing. Background of development: In recent years, with the diversification of electronic devices, technological innovation, and shorter product life cycles, production sites are increasingly required to handle high-mix low-volume production and have the flexibility to switch production in response to demand fluctuations. On the other hand, when introducing equipment, challenges such as device performance suitable for actual operation, installation space, and operational load are important themes in selecting optimal equipment. Against this backdrop, FUJI has pursued the value required in actual production sites based on customer feedback and has proceeded with the development of 'CLT-FG' as a new mounter that meets a wide range of production needs, balancing compactness that is easy to introduce even in constrained production sites with high flexibility. Features of CLT-FG: (1) Flexible response to a wide range of production: Equipped with a general-purpose head capable of handling a wide range of parts with a single head, from high-speed mounting of small chip parts to stable handling of large parts. (2) Compact and easy to introduce: The compact design with a device width of approximately 1 meter, optimized for the needs of diverse production sites, improves the freedom of installation location.
