FRONTAGE INC. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director & CCO: Kotaro Shimada, hereinafter "FRONTAGE") has agreed to support the activities of the "Research Sales Alliance" promoted by the General Incorporated Association Research Sales Alliance (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Co-Representatives: Tetsu Natsume / Shigeaki Nishino, hereinafter "Research Sales Alliance") and to support collaboration among participating companies, starting its activities from Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
The "Research Sales Alliance" is a new initiative aimed at creating groundbreaking innovations through inter-company co-creation by providing a mechanism to easily share technologies and research themes, in contrast to the current situation where the high technological capabilities of Japanese companies tend to remain siloed within each company. It lowers the hurdles for collaboration among participating companies representing various industries in Japan. In addition, it aims to spread the method of inter-company alliances across Japan as a "catalyst."
FRONTAGE will collaborate with the Research Sales Alliance Secretariat and act as a partner sharing the secretariat functions. Leveraging over 50 years of experience as a comprehensive advertising agency since its predecessor, along with the knowledge cultivated as a Sony Group advertising company, FRONTAGE will provide solutions for communication-related challenges such as brand strategy and product/service appeal. While supporting the operation and communication of the Research Sales Alliance, it will push forward the social implementation and commercialization of research. Utilizing its expertise in the communication field, FRONTAGE will assist in creating spaces where participating companies can easily present research and technical themes and strengthen their communication capabilities, thereby further accelerating the realization of these goals.
Specifically, it will support the planning and operation of online salons where participating companies can share research and technical themes, as well as matching meetings for each theme. In addition, in collaboration with the Research Sales Alliance Secretariat, it will promote operational support for various opportunities to encourage collaboration among participating companies, project support for realizing PoC (Proof of Concept), and public relations support to improve the recognition of activities. Through this initiative, FRONTAGE will strengthen the activity base of the Research Sales Alliance and support the acceleration of inter-company co-creation, thereby contributing to the creation of Japanese-style innovation.
