FPCO Chupa Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), a manufacturer and distributor of food containers, is launching the "VFC-K series," a newly designed produce container that fits perfectly into standard foldable crates. These containers are designed to simultaneously achieve "maximum loading efficiency" and "organized shelf displays."

Background of Development In recent years, against the backdrop of rising logistics costs and the growing need for efficiency, improving loading efficiency during transport has become a key theme in produce distribution. In particular, the effective use of foldable crates is one of the most important issues directly linked to improving logistics efficiency.

Based on this context, we began developing the new "VFC-K" series by reflecting the challenges and requests actually encountered on-site. This series aims to provide value to both "logistics" and "retail floors" by considering not only improved loading efficiency during transport but also the visual appeal during display.

Three Features of the "VFC-K Series" 1. Size Design that Fits Perfectly in Crates The VFC-K is designed to fit into the foldable crates commonly used in produce distribution (internal dimensions: 574 x 372 mm). This allows for the waste-free utilization of space within the foldable crates, contributing to improved loading efficiency during transport.

2. Beautiful Displays with Uniform Shelf Heights The heights of the small, medium, and large sizes have been standardized to 57 mm. When displayed side-by-side, the top surfaces align horizontally, allowing for a clean and organized retail display.

3. Clean Design Without Ribs While general containers use "ribs" to increase strength, the VFC-K series eliminates these ribs to achieve a clean design that highlights the contents.

Future Outlook In the field of produce distribution, various challenges have been pointed out, such as the training of personnel responsible for creating retail displays and the securing of drivers who support daily logistics. In such a situation, creating an environment where the field can work more efficiently is one of the important roles for packaging material manufacturers.

We will continue to contribute to the sustainable development of produce distribution through product development and proposals that pursue the functions and ease of use required in produce markets and retail settings.
