Japan's 'Wa' to the World: New Sensation Event 'Washoku Fes' to be Held, Fusing Food, Culture, and Stage

FoodFes Inc. (Representative Director: Kazuma Inagaki) will host "Washoku Fes," a new sensation festival fusing Japanese food culture and Japanese culture, for three days on Friday, July 3, Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Hibiya Park (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

This event is co-hosted with the food and beverage organization NONAME (Operating Representatives: Momose, Kobashiri.).

With the concept of "Bringing Japanese culture and food culture to the next generation and to the world," this event proposes a new dining experience that blends traditional Japanese food culture "Washoku" with world cuisine and contemporary culture.

At the venue, multi-faceted "Wa" entertainment will be offered, including a food area providing original dishes incorporating Japanese ingredients and Japanese flavors, a marche featuring carefully selected food products and goods from all over Japan, and stage content appealing to younger generations and inbound tourists.

Planned to feature Dining, Marche, and Stage

The venue will host the following content:

■ Dining Area
Original food incorporating Japanese ingredients and Japanese flavors will be offered.
"Wa-arranged menus" that reinterpret popular world dishes with unique Japanese ingredients and cooking methods are planned to be developed.

■ Marche Area
Food products, seasonings, and goods from producers and brands nationwide will be sold.
Visitors can experience the charm of Japanese craftsmanship and food culture through products that prioritize ingredients and manufacturing methods.

■ Stage Content
Stages showcasing Japanese-origin culture, such as music, dance, and fashion, are planned.
Collaboration with performers and influencers popular mainly among Gen Z is also planned, developing projects that combine the unique energy of a real event with SNS spread.

■ Ennichi Area
An Ennichi area, offering a "Wa" atmosphere reminiscent of a summer festival, is planned.
Through games and hands-on activities that children can enjoy, a space will be created where visitors can easily experience Japan's unique festival culture. It aims to be a place for families to relax and create summer memories.
