FOLK FOLK Co., Ltd. and Himitsu Beer LLC Collaborate to Open a New Store in the Ujiyamada Station Area

◾Motivation and Background

To strengthen regional cooperation, FHG HOTELS (Kasumigaseki Capital Group, CEO: Hidekazu Ogata, hereinafter "FHG") has decided to jointly open the first-floor dining area with local companies FOLK FOLK Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ise City, Mie Prefecture, CEO: Michiya Higashiyama) and Himitsu Beer LLC (Headquarters: Ise City, Mie Prefecture, Representative: Keita Yabuki).

◾Collaboration Between Local Eateries

A joint store opening has been decided between "FOLK FOLK," a multi-service facility primarily operating as a wedding venue in Ise City, and "Himitsu Beer," an agriculture-based microbrewery. The two companies, which regularly cooperate in regional activities, will operate the space at different times of the day. FOLK FOLK Coffee will be in charge of mornings, while Himitsu Beer will handle lunch and dinner. They aim for a collaborative business that leverages the mutual strengths of the service and manufacturing industries. Driven by a shared curiosity to "make Ise interesting," "liven up the region," and "create a meaningful place to be," they will work more than ever to promote and develop the region's appeal.

◾Solving Regional Issues and Activating Tourism

For several years, both companies have noted that the route from Ujiyamada Station to Isuzugawa Station to Naiku (Miyuki Road) has remained unactivated as a tourist destination. They are conceptualizing an area connected by various commercial businesses, such as transportation, accommodation, and dining. They have dubbed this the "Miyuki Road Revitalization Project." This hotel is also located in the area around Ujiyamada Station and plays a part in this area concept. As hotel construction progresses in preparation for the upcoming Shikinen Sengu, the aim of this project is not merely to entrust economic development to large companies outside the prefecture, but for local companies to commit and collaborate, creating synergy both inside and outside the prefecture.

◾Opening Staff Recruitment Begins

We are recruiting opening staff for the breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.
