In his work as a real estate broker, Representative Inomata encountered numerous cases where elderly individuals, who were mentally and physically healthy and capable of independent living, were forced to move into elderly care facilities simply because of their age or living alone, after being denied rental housing.

Facilities often impose certain restrictions on daily life, such as meals, bathing, and outings, which can limit the freedom of individuals who have lived independently. Faced with this reality, the need for "housing that balances freedom and security" became the starting point for this project.

This system monitors the well-being of residents 24 hours a day without using cameras, thus protecting privacy. * **Software: Mimamori Support:** Regular monthly visits, approximately one hour each, are conducted to check for changes in daily life while performing tasks such as cleaning water fixtures and assisting with shopping. * **Network: Community Collaboration:** Efforts are underway to build a support system in collaboration with community comprehensive support centers and welfare professionals.
