[Kagawa Five Arrows] Announcement of New Head Coach Contract for 2026-27 Season: Sho Higashijima

Thank you for your continued support of the Kagawa Five Arrows. We are pleased to announce that we have signed a contract with Sho Higashijima as head coach for the 2026-27 season. Born in 1985 in Saitama Prefecture, Higashijima has served as an assistant or head coach for various teams since 2017, including Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka, Alvark Tokyo, Yamagata Wyverns, Koshigaya Alphas, and Ibaraki Robots. Higashijima commented, 'I am deeply honored to lead the Kagawa Five Arrows as we enter a new stage of the B.LEAGUE, and I feel the weight of this responsibility. I will pour all the experience I have cultivated in various environments into the team and do my utmost for the club's development and victory.' Naoto Iuoka, President and General Manager, stated, 'Mr. Higashijima has served as a coach for many excellent clubs and is highly trusted by players and staff. From our first meeting, I felt his sincerity, dedication, and passion, and I knew I wanted his help for the future development of Kagawa.'
