Solving Lost and Found for the New Season! A Total of 11 Companies in Kanto, Kansai, and Hokkaido Join the Cross-Search Service!

find Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akira Takashima), provider of the "Lost and Found Cloud find," will significantly expand the area covered by its "Cross-Search Service," which allows users to inquire about lost items across multiple businesses at once, starting from Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

In addition to the nine existing businesses in the Kanto region, 11 new businesses (*), including JR East, JR Hokkaido, and major department stores, will participate. By building a network that spans a total of 20 businesses across the Kanto, Kansai, and Hokkaido regions, we will reduce the "search burden" for the owners of lost items and the "response costs" for businesses, realizing a smoother return process.

◆ What is "find chat" Cross-Search?

Previously, for lost items where the location of loss could not be specified, the owner had to contact each potential business individually, which was a significant hassle for both the owner and the business. To address this issue, "find chat" launched a cross-search service in December 2025 that allows users to inquire about information across multiple transportation operators and facilities with a single query.

The owner simply selects multiple facilities where they might have lost the item through "find chat," and an operator will search across the target locations and provide a response. This reduces the effort for both the owner of the lost item and each business.
