Solving Lost Items in New Lifestyles! 11 Businesses in Kanto, Kansai, and Hokkaido Join Cross-Search Service!

find Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Akira Takashima), which provides "Lost and Found Cloud find," will significantly expand the target area of its "Cross-Search Service," which allows users to inquire about lost items from multiple businesses at once, starting from Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

In addition to the previous 9 businesses in Kanto, 11 new businesses (※) including JR East, JR Hokkaido, and major department stores will participate. By building a network spanning a total of 20 businesses across Kanto, Kansai, and Hokkaido, the service aims to reduce the "burden of searching" for lost item owners and the "response costs" for businesses, thereby enabling smoother returns.

◆ What is "find chat" Cross-Search?

Previously, for lost items whose exact location of loss could not be identified, owners had to individually inquire with each business they suspected, which was a significant burden for both owners and businesses. To address this issue, "find chat" launched a cross-search service in December 2025, allowing users to collectively inquire about information spanning multiple transportation providers and facilities with a single inquiry.

Owners can simply select multiple facilities where they believe they lost an item from "find chat," and an operator will search across the target entities and provide a response. This reduces the effort for both lost item owners and individual businesses.
