[deux C] Stylish and Practical. An Event Featuring Hasami-yaki Pottery Selected by Kiln.

Fil et Cucire Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Asaminami-ku, Hiroshima; CEO: Toshifumi Shishido) operates 'deux C'.

Starting from May 14, 2026, an event featuring a collection of Hasami-yaki pottery will be held at all deux C stores nationwide and on the online store.

Hasami-yaki, a type of pottery with a tradition dating back to the Edo period, remains popular today for its durability and wide range of designs. At this event, we will introduce recommended Hasami-yaki tableware selected by deux C's buyers, categorized by each kiln. We have also prepared new products that will be launched for the first time.

**What is Hasami-yaki?**

Hasami-yaki is porcelain produced in the town of Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture. Since the Edo period, tableware for the masses has been mass-produced, with items like the sometsuke 'kurawanka' bowls and 'conpura' bottles exported overseas being well-known. It is thin, light, durable, and comes in a wide variety of designs, making it one of the most popular types of pottery even today.
