Tokyo Football Club Co., Ltd. would like to re-announce that at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders and Board of Directors held on July 1, 2026, Eisuke Shirai was appointed as Representative Director and President.

"My name is Shirai, and I have been appointed as the Representative Director of Tokyo Football Club Co., Ltd. as of July 1st. I feel a great sense of responsibility and anticipation for the club's future as I take on the significant role of representing FC Tokyo, a club with one of the finest potentials in Japan. Last season, the club finished 2nd in the Regional League Round EAST and 4th overall in the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Centennial Vision League. We sincerely accept this result and will do our utmost to aim for the league title and grow into a club that represents the league. I believe this is my most important mission. Furthermore, in terms of management, we will further develop the business foundation built by my predecessor, Shigeaki Kawagishi, and connect that growth to investment in the football division. We aim to build a strong management foundation that can achieve sustainable investment, enabling top team players and academy players alike to grow in a better environment. Club management involves various elements, but we will cherish dialogue with the local community and, without forgetting our gratitude for the support of many stakeholders, we will dedicate ourselves to both club management and improving team performance. I have been involved in the management of a B.League club for the past five years. I feel great joy and anticipation in being able to be involved in the world of football, where I was once a competitor, again from the business side. On the other hand, there is still much to learn. While receiving various opinions and insights from everyone, I will responsibly work to grow FC Tokyo into one of Japan's leading big clubs that can be proud of worldwide. I want to build a new history together with our fans, supporters, partners, local community, and everyone who supports the club. FC Tokyo will continue to challenge itself, aiming to become an even stronger club than before. We kindly ask for your continued warm support and encouragement."
