On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, FANCL Corporation held a 'Kids Skincare Seminar' for 76 sixth-grade students at Yokodai Daiichi Elementary School in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, as part of their classroom curriculum. Since 2021, the company has been continuously conducting the 'FANCL SDGs Seminar,'* where employees serve as instructors to provide elementary, junior high, and high school students with opportunities to learn about the SDGs through familiar, everyday themes. This seminar was held as part of that initiative, focusing on the theme of 'Healthy Skin.' *FANCL SDGs Seminar Website: https://fancl-kanagawa-sdgs.jp/ At the beginning of the session, the company introduced itself. The instructor also shared their own career path, what they value in their work, and a message for the students' future, hoping to provide inspiration as they think about their own paths ahead. Following this, the session covered the relationship between environmental changes—such as global warming and air pollution—and skin health. Through quizzes and discussions, students deepened their understanding of the characteristics of children's skin and the structure of the skin. Next, the students participated in a hands-on practice session using actual skincare products. After everyone measured their skin's moisture levels, six student representatives came to the front to demonstrate the correct way to wash their faces using the 'Clear Up Foam Wash (Quasi-drug),' a skincare product designed for children. The other students used 'Fresh Clear Sheets,' wipes containing skincare ingredients, to gently remove sweat and sebum. After cleansing their skin, all students applied the 'Clear Up Gel Milk (Quasi-drug)' to moisturize. Afterward, they measured their moisture levels again. Students who had lower moisture levels before the skincare routine saw a significant increase in their numbers afterward, creating a great deal of excitement in the room.
