Suginami City, Tokyo, Continues "Women's Healthcare, Fertility, and Pregnancy SOS" LINE-based Services with Famione into FY2026

Famione Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yusuke Ishikawa), which operates healthcare support services such as "Famione" (https://famione.com/benefit/) for corporate employees and local government residents, with the vision of "creating a society where all people wishing for children can lead happy lives," has been commissioned by Suginami City, Tokyo (Mayor: Satoko Kishimoto; hereinafter Suginami City). The "Fertility LINE Support Project," which has been implemented since fiscal year 2021, expanded to three services in fiscal year 2025. The three services provided in fiscal year 2025—"Women's LINE Consultation: Comprehensive Healthcare," "Fertility LINE Support Project," and "Suginami Pregnancy SOS"—were well-received by users, and the continuation of service provision for fiscal year 2026 has been decided.

Suginami City is committed to various support initiatives to create an environment where people can safely become pregnant and give birth. As part of this, from fiscal year 2021 to fiscal year 2024, the "Fertility LINE Support Project" offered up to three free consultations regarding fertility and infertility treatment. From fiscal year 2025, consultation support expanded into three services: "Women's LINE Consultation: Comprehensive Healthcare," "Fertility LINE Support Project," and "Suginami Pregnancy SOS."

This expansion allows for consultation on various issues from adolescence to old age, such as ovulation disorders (irregular menstruation), PMS (premenstrual syndrome), menopausal disorders, and osteoporosis. It also addresses concerns about unexpected pregnancies, missed periods, and prescriptions for emergency contraception (after-pill), which are often difficult to discuss. Furthermore, in addition to text consultations, new Zoom online consultations will be implemented, with unlimited sessions, to provide more detailed support for everyone's peace of mind.

■ Examples of Service Provision in Fiscal Year 2025
In fiscal year 2025, an online seminar titled "Thinking about Fertility Treatment for Two, Not Someday but Now" was held in August 2025.

Certified infertility nurses, embryologists, and infertility peer counselors from Famione spoke, explaining basic knowledge of fertility and infertility treatment to help partners respect each other's thoughts, share goals, and support each other through doubts and anxieties.

"Famione" supports corporate health management and women's empowerment by providing welfare services and resident support for local governments through "culture building" via expert seminars and "individual support for those affected" via online consultations. Users can anonymously consult with qualified professionals such as nurses and psychologists, contributing to improved psychological safety and prevention of health issues. Additionally, customized seminars and training tailored to corporate and regional challenges aim to improve the literacy of the entire organization/community, including supporters, not just those directly affected.

Since its launch in 2018, it has been widely adopted by private companies such as Odakyu Electric Railway, TBS Koseikai, Taisei Corporation, NTT, and Kodansha, as well as various local governments including Yokosuka City, Setagaya Ward in Tokyo, Mihara City in Hiroshima Prefecture, Oura Town in Gunma Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, Nara Prefecture, and Yamanashi Prefecture.
