Welcoming Baby Goats to the Washinmura Family

Grow up healthy and strong, baby goats! The newly born baby goats are still fragile, so they are currently under health management. They won't be going out to eat grass for a while. As soon as their condition stabilizes, you will be able to meet them.

A glamping village with a total of 6 rooms, located in the satoyama (woodlands) of Futtsu, Chiba. A 200-year-old traditional Japanese house and 16 rescue cats. Enjoy a relaxing time with nature and animals.

How to Spend the Daytime Climb the slopes carrying a traditional woven basket on your back, or explore the forest. You can enjoy an old-fashioned "original experience" playing with your whole body.

How to Spend the Nighttime Chat leisurely while watching the flames of the bonfire. Before you know it, a cat is curled up and sleeping next to you. Such a day in the satoyama is a common sight at Washinmura.

About the Facility On the premises, there is a traditional Japanese house and a nagayamon (gatehouse) built about 200 years ago, as well as tents and Snow Peak Jyuubako (mobile houses) dotted around. We live together with the following animals: - 15 rescue cats + 1 (living in the dormitory) - Goats - Dogs - A family of Silky Fowls (Ukokkei)

Important Notices About Animal Snacks Under the guidance of a veterinarian, to manage the health of the cats, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing in commercially available snacks. If you wish to give them treats, please purchase the snacks sold at the Washinmura shop (additive-free, domestic ingredients, carefully selected). *Sold in limited quantities.

Other Notices - Cats live freely on the premises. Please be careful if you have allergies. - The animals are whimsical, so we don't know which room they will visit. They won't necessarily always come. - The cats and dogs at Washinmura are spayed/neutered and receive vaccines and tick prevention medication.
