Further Developing and Passing Down the Management Culture of Japan's Beauty Industry to Future Generations - Industry's Top 7 Executives Form a New Community System to Share Management Know-How

Eyeuniverse Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which operates the General Incorporated Association Digital Salon Association, is pleased to announce that it has welcomed seven new executive directors to its "Management Culture Committee," a division within the association.

Many salon owners handle everything from daily treatments to recruitment, training, and management reform by themselves. The Company's Management Culture Committee functions as a place to solve such lonely management problems, such as "How does the salon next door manage its organization?" or "I want to ask someone if my management decisions are correct," together with top executives in the industry. With the addition of new welfare benefits for members, seven more executive directors have joined, further strengthening the system.

Management Culture Committee

The Management Culture Committee is one of the divisions within the Digital Salon Association, and it is a management-focused community where leading salon owners in the beauty industry gather. It functions not only as a place for networking but also as a practical platform for sharing management know-how, fostering the next generation, and promoting DX (Digital Transformation) across the entire industry.

The seven newly appointed executive directors are accomplished business owners who operate multiple stores. They include Mr. Junichiro Uehara (Magico), who operates over 20 stores in his group, and Mr. Teiki Kono, representative of the GARDEN Group, which has 15 stores. Each will share their cultivated management philosophy and organizational development knowledge with members.

Founded "Magico" in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, in 2006. Operates over 20 stores in the group with an entertainment-style dominant management that integrates concept salons, restaurants, and vintage clothing stores.

Operates 15 stores, including the large 200-tsubo hair salon "GARDEN." Since 2014, he has been active in various fields such as hair shows, photo shoots, and salon production, based in NY and Japan.

Co-founded Apish beauty salon with Tetsuya Sakamaki. He has been a trendsetter with his unique cutting techniques and perm theories, winning the Charisma Perm category for five consecutive years. Currently, as the representative of Apish HD, he operates 11 salons in Tokyo, including e-commerce and academy businesses.

Achievements of the Digital Salon Association operated by EyeUniverse

To date, the Company has held a total of 46 "Digi-Tech Summits" (as of the end of February 2026) to bridge the beauty and IT industries. The total number of attendees for these events has exceeded 20,000, and they have been held at an average pace of 2.5 times per month across Japan and overseas.

In collaboration with over 10 ambassador companies, including major manufacturers, we are promoting digital transformation in the beauty industry.
