Background and Purpose of Starting the Life Care Business

U-style Laboratory Inc. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ken Ohata), which provides care for severe disabilities and intractable diseases, operates 'Severe Home Visit Care (U-style Care)' and 'Daytime Service Support Type Group Homes (U-style Home)' nationwide as its core businesses under the mission: 'Delivering necessary care to all who need it.'

In recent years, as the 'community transition' of people with severe disabilities is being promoted, the need for community spaces for people with disabilities has grown extremely high. U-style Laboratory has been providing safe places to live through its home visit care and communal living support businesses. Now, we have started operating the life care business 'U-style Living' as a 'place for daytime activities.'

As our first facility, we opened 'U-style Living Gyoda' located a 3-minute walk from Gyoda Station on the JR Takasaki Line in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture.

Our company operates home visit care services for severe disabilities ('U-style Care Saitama Severe Home Visit Care', 'U-style Care Kawagoe Severe Home Visit Care') and six facilities each of daytime service support type group homes ('U-style Home Kuki, Ina, Kumagaya Menuma, Kazo Hanasaki, Yashio, Kuki Kamiuchi') within Saitama Prefecture.

Furthermore, we plan to newly open U-style Homes in Fukaya, Kumagaya Oshikiri, Kazo Kuge, Gyoda, and Ageo within Saitama Prefecture. As a specialized operator for severe disability and intractable disease care, we will provide total support for the community life of people with severe disabilities in Saitama Prefecture through the three pillars of 'home life, communal life, and daytime activities.'
