Ericsson Japan K.K. (hereinafter 'Ericsson') announces that Hiroaki Ando will be appointed as the new President and CEO, effective April 1, 2026. Toru Nozaki, who has served as President and CEO, will assume the roles of Chairman of the Board and Chief Strategy Officer for the North East Asia region on the same date. Current President and CEO Jawad Manssour will remain in his position, establishing a new structure with three Representative Directors. Additionally, Yukiko Sato will join the company as an Executive Officer on the same date to further strengthen the management team. Sato is expected to be appointed as a Director following approval at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders scheduled for April. Ericsson is accelerating its domestic initiatives to become a trusted partner for Japanese industry and society, including the announcement in February of a new R&D center in Yokohama. This management reinforcement is part of that effort. Under the new structure, we will integrate our respective expertise and leadership to contribute to the further development of the Japanese ICT market.
