The new feature automatically updates Salesforce opportunity fields based on the meeting's content.

With this function, when a Salesforce opportunity is linked to a meeting, "Salesforce update proposals" for items such as the opportunity phase, amount, close date, next action, and hearing details are automatically prepared on Otolio after the meeting concludes.

In addition to standard and custom fields, it supports various data types like free-text and picklists. Since the before/after changes and their rationale are listed for each item, representatives can review and edit the content on-screen before applying all changes to Salesforce with a single click. This frees representatives from post-meeting data entry, allowing them to spend more time on customer interactions. For the organization, it eliminates missed entries, steadily building a foundation for deal management and data utilization.

1. Salesforce Entry is Finished When the Meeting Ends

Representatives just need to confirm the proposals and make edits if necessary to complete the Salesforce update. The AI constructs values for the relevant fields from the meeting content, eliminating the need to recall and re-enter statements, thereby allowing that time to be spent on customer support and proposal preparation.

2. Review "Before/After/Rationale" for Each Item and Apply in Bulk with One Click

In Otolio's "Salesforce Update Proposal" screen, the before and after values for each field are displayed side-by-side. The rationale for the AI's proposal can be directly verified from the meeting transcript and timestamps. It supports various data types, including standard fields, custom fields, free-text, and picklists, so it can be used without changing current operations or input rules.

3. Eliminates Missed Entries, Establishing a Foundation for Organizational Deal Management and Data Utilization

Since field data is reliably updated for all opportunities, managers can grasp the status of deals without time lags, leading to faster reviews and support decisions. Furthermore, as field data accumulates in Salesforce, it solidifies the data foundation for departments like corporate planning that use data for analysis and reporting, eliminating situations where decisions are made without complete information.

A CRM serves as the foundation for sharing the status of sales activities within an organization and for deciding on the next steps. However, the task of recalling statements after a meeting to fill in fields like opportunity phase, next actions, and hearing details is a significant burden for representatives. As meetings pile up, this task gets postponed, leading to missed entries and inconsistent descriptions, making it difficult for the organization to read the deal status and sometimes resulting in situations where "field data is incomplete and needs to be collected from scratch" at the analysis stage. It is not realistic for humans to continue to accurately transcribe values based on the flow of a meeting, which undermines the data foundation a CRM should inherently possess.
