SLV v0.13 Released: The Era of Memorizing CLI Commands is Over; Solana Development Shifts to AI Agent Interaction

After installation, simply run `slv onboard` to set up the environment and `slv c` to launch the AI Console. This provides an environment where you can begin all aspects of Solana validator, RPC, and application development using natural language. There is no need to manually write MCP configuration files or research and register endpoints.

This release marks a turning point, shifting the primary interface for Solana development and operations from a CLI-centric approach to one centered on interaction with AI agents.

SLV is an AI Agent Kit for Solana developers. It is an open-source tool that provides a consistent operational foundation for everything from validators, RPCs, and Geyser gRPC to application development, with all methods supporting the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

In v0.13, access to this MCP-supported foundation has been simplified to the extreme. By simply completing the onboarding interactive wizard, all SLV methods become executable by AI agents. MCP configuration, key access, and version tracking—operational challenges previously handled individually—now converge into a single interface.
