ElevenLabs Provides Voice AI Platform for Komatsu Maintenance Technicians Developed by SORABITO

ElevenLabs Japan G.K. ("ElevenLabs") has provided its technology to SORABITO Inc. ("SORABITO") to collaborate on building a conversational voice AI assistant specialized for mechanics in maintenance and repair fields. This service has been provided to Komatsu Ltd. ("Komatsu"), and a proof-of-concept (PoC) trial has commenced.

This project aims to create a voice AI service that mechanics can truly master on-site by combining ElevenLabs' advanced voice AI technology with SORABITO's deep understanding and design capabilities for industry-specific operations.

### Background and Purpose
In maintenance sites, mechanics must search for critical information within vast shop manuals and instruction guides. Conventionally, searching for causes from vague symptoms like "slow arm movement" took significant time. Furthermore, since mechanics' hands are often occupied or dirty with oil, operating devices and reading long texts caused work interruptions and safety risks. To address these issues, the three companies began testing a voice AI service that extracts necessary information in a "short, step-by-step" manner through natural, human-like dialogue.

### Key Features of the Conversational Voice AI Support
1. **High-Precision Voice Interface**: By combining ElevenLabs' natural and responsive voice synthesis with SORABITO's proprietary dialogue control logic, the system realizes a hands-free environment. This is expected to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
2. **UX for Identifying Causes from Vague Symptoms**: Beyond simple keyword searches, mechanics can simply describe the on-site phenomenon to the AI to identify relevant fault codes or manual sections. This ensures immediate access to information regardless of the worker's level of expertise.
3. **Step-by-Step Voice Navigation**: Instead of long-form responses, the AI provides short instructions for each step, checking in with the mechanic before proceeding. This experience is designed to ensure accurate fault diagnosis and inspection even in noisy environments.

Through this trial, the companies aim to streamline maintenance operations and assetize on-site knowledge.
