Elecom Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President and CEO: Koichi Iwami) will release 3 types and 8 items of USB 2.0 cables starting in mid-April. These cables feature a combination of flexible wires and L-shaped connectors to achieve clean and neat wiring.

By adopting L-shaped connectors, these USB 2.0 cables reduce the protrusion from the connected devices, allowing for a compact wiring layout. Furthermore, they utilize a soft TPE material that does not easily retain bends even when bundled, showing a strong commitment to ease of handling. Thanks to these two features, the cables do not stick out when plugged into a computer or tablet, allowing you to keep the area around your desk and devices neat and tidy.

We have lined up three types with different connector shapes and USB Power Delivery supported capacities. The lineup includes a maximum 60W compatible type with one L-shape and one straight connector, a maximum 60W compatible type with L-shaped connectors on both ends, and a maximum 240W compatible type with L-shaped connectors on both ends. You can also choose the length according to your needs. All of them are USB-IF officially certified products with a safe design adopting double shielded cables, gold-plated pins, and flame-retardant materials.

3 Types of USB 2.0 Cables Adopting Flexible × L-shaped Connectors for Neat Wiring

These are USB 2.0 cables that can be connected to computers, smartphones, and AC chargers equipped with a USB Type-C(TM) port for charging and data transfer.

These USB 2.0 cables adopt a USB Type-C L-shaped connector on both ends or on one side. Compared to straight connectors, the part protruding from the device is minimized, making it compact to handle.

They utilize flexible cables that are easy to route during wiring and do not easily retain bends even when bundled.

With Hi-Speed USB (USB 2.0), data such as photos and videos can be transferred at a maximum speed of 480 Mbps (theoretical value).

They are reliable USB-IF officially certified products.

They adopt a double shielded cable that protects the signal from external noise interference.

Flame-retardant materials are used to enhance safety.

Gold-plated pins are adopted to suppress signal degradation.

[L-shaped - Straight] Type Adopting an L-shaped Connector on One Side

This is a USB Type-C cable that realizes neat wiring that is easy to handle and reduces protrusion thanks to the flexible cable adopting an L-shaped connector on one side.

It is capable of charging connected devices at a maximum of 60W (20V/3A) (*).
* The power value supplied varies depending on the performance of the computer or device being used.

Two Models with Different Supported Power are Available for the Both-Ends L-shaped Connector Type

These are USB Type-C cables that adopt L-shaped connectors on both ends of the cable, enabling neat wiring with minimal protrusion.

Wiring in a right-angle direction is possible. Because it allows wiring tailored to the space, it is convenient even for use in tight spaces.

The U2C-CCLY series supports USB Power Delivery and can charge at a maximum of 60W (20V/3A). It can charge not only smartphones and tablets but also laptop computers (*1).

The U2C-CLLEY series supports USB Power Delivery EPR and can charge at a maximum of 240W (48V/5A). It can charge not only smartphones and tablets but also laptops with high power consumption, such as AI PCs.
