Eiken Chemical x Unko Drill: Educational Booklet 'Unko Drill: Stool Test for Colorectal Cancer' Released for Elementary School Students

Eiken Chemical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has jointly produced and released today the educational booklet for elementary school students, "Unko Drill: Stool Test for Colorectal Cancer," in collaboration with Bunkyo-sha Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Shuji Yamamoto).

This booklet is an awareness content born from the desire to "make children laugh and learn, leading to actions that protect family lives," by combining the immensely popular "Unko Drill" learning materials, with over 10 million copies sold cumulatively in the series*, and our company, which has been involved in colorectal cancer screening for many years as a manufacturer of clinical diagnostic reagents.

In Japan, colorectal cancer is a major cancer in terms of both incidence and mortality, and early detection and early treatment are key to saving lives. However, screening participation rates remain insufficient.
